About me

Sarina Harz, LMSW

Sarina Harz grew up in the desert of Southern California. She was fortunate enough to have Joshua Tree National Park as her childhood playground! She still returns home a few times of year when she need to recharge and connect with the desert sun.

She moved from the rural desert to city life in North Texas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. After a few years of working in the trenches, she moved to the pacific coast and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She worked in a non-profit setting from 2009-2016 and it is from her experience with highly stigmatized populations that she learned to honor her gifts of intuition, helping people incorporate play into their lives, and storytelling.

She work with clients of all ages, but specialize in teens, millennials, and bisexual or pansexual men in their 20s and 30s. She works from the Existentialist perspective, however bring in a lot of Jungian, Transpersonal, Gestalt, and Humanistic theories to support the therapeutic process. Some tools she uses to facilitate the healing process are medicine wheels, meditation, storytelling, art, mirror work, nature walks, and movement.
